Redundancy and Recruitment
Recruitment was part of Sandra’s Management roles for 7 years.
Sandra has been made redundant twice and worked her way back up the ladder each time.
She has experience of recruiting and of being recruited. That’s why she is in a great position to help, advise and guide others, back into employment.
Sandra’s life changed when she was made redundant for the second time in her career in 2009. It was then that she discovered she was born to write and to help others, including those who have been made redundant to get back into work. She is thrilled to be in a position to do both of these.

Personal Life Experience
Received a Good Citizenship Award for saving a life.
Sandra has lived experience of depression and anxiety. She freed herself from depression in 2012 without medication, using her Embrace Your Quirky Philosophy; that now underpins everything she does in her life and businesses. That is all about being your true authentic self, regardless of what anyone else says, thinks, or does.
Asexuality
Sandra is very open and confident about being Heteroromantic Asexual in orientation, and promotes equality for all. She has many friends that are highly sexual and friends that are asexual. She runs and manages the Asexual Business, Gurus and Entrepreneurs Group, on Facebook. She recognises that some asexual people, would prefer to be mentored and coached by someone who understands their orientation and how that can impact their life or business. As such, Sandra offers Quirky Coaching in asexuality for growing confidence, self-esteem and happiness.
Meeting HM the Queen
In July 2013, Sandra met HM the Queen at St James’s Palace in her role as a Health Buddy, for Community Service Volunteers (CSV) in Association with BBC Radio Devon.
Embracing Your Quirky – Mixing Business With Pleasure
Sandra believes in order to live a happy and fulfilling life and therefore a successful one, you need to be your authentic self and true to who you are, regardless or what anyone else says, thinks, or does – Like her Embrace Your Quirky philosophy that she used to overcome depression, Sandra is all about being real, raw, natural and authentic, and this spills over into every aspect of her life, including her businesses. In fact some of her previous clients have become her friend.
Equality for all
Sandra welcomes anyone regardless of age, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, status, class, background, race or religion; including anyone with a disability or suffering from mental ill health.
